These illustrations are part of a genre called "Circuit Board Art." The idea is to take the design principles of circuit lines and other integrated parts you may find in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and apply them to a particular shape. I was inspired by various sugar skull designs and how they integrate flowers and shapes as part of the face. I also have an interest in the world of computers and sometimes find myself mesmerized by the look of what's inside.
